I'm still thinking about home improvement, our home is always a work in progress, for me it's never done! There is always something that I need to change, add, customize, etc...

So now I'm thinking about making some changes in our living room, I have a couple of DIY projects in mind...one of them is to reproduce this lovely bright yellow VITTSJO bookcase from Ikea.

It has originally a black finish but I loved this idea of stray painting it with a bright color...(as you know I am all about pops of colors and inexpensive solutions).

I think that a yellow bookcase like this one will look great in our tropical beachy living room (this one is definitly going on my TO DO LIST).

I LOVE MY NEW RUG!! 

As I commented on my last post I was in love by the Ikea's new LAPPLJUNG Collection, specially by the Lappljung Ruta Rug.

I couldn't resist on buying it even without really knowing where I was going to put it. 

I finally ended up placing it under our bed. 

My hubby isn't totally convinced yet...He thinks that it's too small, he has a point (it would look best if the rug was rectangular) but that's why I decided placed the rug like that and I think that this asymmetric placement is original and goes well with the layout of the room.

So tell me, what do YOU think?

My crush of the the day is this gorgeous removable wallpaper from Waterways Collection by Timothy Sue.

I just love everything about this wallpaper, his gorgeous pattern (obviously inspire by the ocean waves), and all of the wonderful colors combination, each one is more stunning then the other.
